Since 2002, EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK has sought to improve public health and quality of life through promoting clean mobility and sustainable urban transport. The campaign gives people the chance to explore the role of city streets and to experiment with practical solutions to tackle urban challenges, such as air pollution. EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK, 16-22 September 2018, wants to raise awareness on multimodal transport with the call-to-action ‘Mix and Move!’.
Bicycle club Grma, Tourist board Sutivan and Municipality of Sutivan, mark the international Mobility Week. More than 2000 European cities are participating, and Sutivan is the one from our county. Activities realized within the project of Bike Friendly Sutivan helped Sutivan fulfill three Golden criterion established by European Mobility Week, and so Sutivan has been nominated for the European Mobility Week Award! We hope you find something of interest in the program and join this interesting week on Brač! The project ends with the bicycle race for children so you are more than welcome to invite your children to participate!
